6 The Legal Bit - Terms and Conditions
 
  1. Where time permits a non-refundable deposit must be paid at the time of booking with the balance to be paid before the date of the first recording. See here for payment methods
  2. The Videographer(s) agree to videorecord the event and/or edit the material in line with the clients’ instructions to create computer files, DVDs or BluRay discs.
  3. The Videographer(s) will maintain backup copies of the recorded material for a period of at least one year.
  4. Force Majeure: the performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by the Videographer(s) owing to any cause beyond their control. In the event of total failure of the Video Equipment or ancillary accessories, or cancellation of the contract by the Videographer(s), liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that images are lost through equipment malfunction, the internet, the mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Videographer(s). In the event that the Videographer(s) fail(s) to perform for any other reason, such as illness, the Videographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the Videographer’s fee.
  5. It the responsibility of the customer to ensure that permission has been sought for the recording to be made at any given venue.
